ThinkIT's KTV Song Selection Solution Turns up with Glittering Appearance. |

¡¡¡¡At the 18th China International Exhibition on Pro Audio, Light, Music & Technology (PALM EXPRO 2009) held between May 28th and 31st. Beijing ThunderStone Technology has launched, for the first time, a speech recognition based song selection system, which was developed by Beijing Kexin Technology Ltd.(ThinkIT). This system provides the KTV market with a brand-new and unique way for song selecting in KTV entertainment, with features that a song can be easily selected simply by speaking its name, humming its tune, or reading a small part of its lyrics. ThunderStone Technology has also presented at the show an unique singing scoring system which is also developed on ThinkIT¡¯s speech recognition technology. |

¡¡¡¡Those who enjoy singing at KTV, all wish to select a song among tens of thousands quickly and easily. No means can be more convenient than directly using the mouth for doing so. That is the main reason that ThinkIT developed some technologies and contributed to the KTV industry with its song selecting system based on speech recognition. ¡¡¡¡ThinkIT's solution of KTV song selection by speech provides several means of selecting songs through moving the lips, like selection by speaking the name of a song, selection by speaking part of the lyrics, and selecton by humming. After over half a year's tuning and testing in cooperation with ThunderStone, the performance issue of song selection by speech under noisy environments in KTV rooms has been resolved. Currently the KTV song selection system using ThinkIT's speech selection solution has been deployed in some regions. |

¡¡¡¡ThinkIT¡¯s singing scoring technology is an objective assessment system based on the degree of matching between the singing melody and the score. Its function is similar to that of machine scoring for the program Challenging the Microphone on the Hunan satellite TV channel. But ThinkIT's singing scoring technology can not only assess the melody accuracy but also the singer's tone, which makes the assessment system more perfect. A demo made its debut at ThunderStone¡¯s booth at the exhibition caught many eyeballs. The atmosphere at the site was charged with excitement. |
